No, but this flat isn't particularly warm, even in summer. In winter it's a nightmare.

They know what other dogs bums smell like.

I know it's the fashion and that but I just don't get the white sock thing

I keep waiting for it to go out of style but it seems to be getting more and more widespread

I think it goes back to when I worked in a call centre years ago and if any of the lads were seen wearing white socks they used to get paraded around the office and everyone would shout "white sock w*ker" at them

That's the only thing I can think as to why I feel the way I do about white socks

I think that wearing white socks, the type that go high above the ankle and especially when they are clearly apparent, as with wearing shorts - they look real goofy. I have never understood why people would purposely do this or especially as some sort of fashion.

But funnily enough I don't mind sandals and socks

I have heard a few people say that they like this combination. It used to be years ago that this sort of thing was frowned upon, but apparently it has become more acceptable in fashion in recent years, or so I have heard.

I don't wear it myself but I'm not repulsed by it when I see other people wearing it

I do like a nice colourful pair of socks with crocs

I don't much like them either but I don't know why. I'm fine with socks under sandals.

We used to call them virgin socks when I was a young reprobate. And it wasn't meant as a compliment. We were dirty little devils sex-positive young men.

They're a bit like clogs

If I'm wearing shorts then its trainer socks for me, the ones that ride just below the ankles so you can barely see them above the shoe. If I've only got normal socks I fold them down over my heel so they have the same low profile.

I would never pull them up over my ankles. It makes grown men look like schoolboys.
