Homemade ham vegetable soup with orzo. :chef: Made it myself with almost totally from-scratch fresh ingredients except for canned diced tomatoes. I made the ham stock using a big ham bone, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, and fresh rosemary and thyme and oregano from my yard. Soup is one of the few things I'm good at cooking.

Masala roast chicken and potatoes (Madhur Jaffrey recipe), carrots and green beans on the side too and a dollop of mango chutney.
A cinnamon sugar poptart for pudding! Washed down with hot chocolate.

I am pleased.
