I slept too late this morning. Finally my mom woke me up because I needed to drive her to work so I could go to a doctor appointment, but I didn't have time to eat breakfast before we left. The appointment was for my acne which is increasingly driving me crazy. The doctor finally gave me something that may help. And I didn't eat anything until I got home at 2pm. So, good and bad things so far.

Is deep ai any good? I've tried a lot of chatbots but haven't tried that one. What are the benefits over the free chatgpt for example?

No benefits I know of unless ChatGPT is trying to force you to create an account and you don't want to give it your email address and whatever other private details it might want. That's what happened in my case and that's why I left it for another robot like the robot tart I am. In my experience DeepAI isn't bad, but I only use it for asking questions and getting plain text answers, nothing more elaborate so far.

Other vaguely recommended robots:

aichatonline.org seems OK, but I've not used it a lot.

gptchatly.com doesn't seem bad, seems to be a fairly small company running it, supposed to be some daily usage limits. Haven't used it much.

perplexity.ai looks reasonable but I've not tried it yet.

Thanks for the information, it's really helpful. I keep hearing about Perplexity but haven't tried it as well. There's a lot of robots out there.

No problem, sharing is caring, I always say.

Yep, AI robots are the height of fashion these days. Trouble is the damn marketers want to mesh it all in with - well, marketing.

An AI robot came out with

Du hast mich wirklich erwischt
Jetzt ist alles, was ich tun will
Ja, du hast mich wirklich erwischt
Und ich weiß nicht, was ich tun soll

when I asked it, and it added that there's no official translation of the song but maybe a fan somewhere has tried to do it.

The problem would be in getting the words to match the song's melody line - obviously the words above don't fit at all well. I suspect it's a hard job. If it's any consolation, The Beatles recorded I Want To Hold Your Hand and She Loves You in German, and whoever translated those did a fairly good job. I think the titles are Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand and Sie Lieb Dich. I gather The Beatles found it quite hard work to sing them.

The "two or nothing" rule that the internet loves so much is so annoying.

So I ordered a DVD online but accidentally refreshed the page during the transaction, and it said it had terminated. So I did it again, and blow me, I did it twice.

The same thing happens sometimes when I'm posting on Facebook. I can't find my post on my timeline anywhere, even after refreshing the app. So I post it again - and then find it's posted twice. Ugh, so annoying. I quickly delete one when that happens, because I don't like making errors online.

So I call it "two or nothing".

That's nuts

I've never noticed this happening to me but I hate doing online transactions for sure so maybe it has happened to me somewhere down the line but I've forgot
