well, if i want them to do that i wouldn't need to show them my art. i get that enough just by trying to be myself.

and regardless of how i feel about the subject, if they turn out nice and people buy them, i won't hesitate to make more.

Yes I would.

Sometimes actions speak louder than words and I would be overjoyed to receive such a compliment.

I was pretty pleased when an ex-bf made me a card instead of buying one - it spoke more than flowers.

Progress report on book 1 of my new series:

I've reached 22,000. I've got six more pages containing the next two parts to type, but I'll do them tomorrow and reach 24,000.
After that, there's five more parts to write and type, a few scenes to add here and there, and then I'm done book 1; with any luck, I'll be done by July 14th. I'm going to take a short break and then launch into book 2, probably by the fourth week of July. I get the feeling that Book 2 might be 50,000 words...

Oh, by the way, it's Boo's "birthday" on July the 11th [the day we found her at the pet store].
