same question to the next.

Meeting my first crush who became my childhood girlfriend. After we both finished grade school, she moved with her parents to another area of Portland. Ten years later, we unexpectedly reunited and picked up our relationship where we left it as kids.

Same question.

That's really sweet, Anonymous!

My favourite childhood memories are from Christmas Eve mass: feeling deep kinship among the deep, rich colours of stained glass, the architecture of the cathedral, that warm 'church' smell which I believe was actual Frankincense in tandem with poinsettias, the sonorous beauty of hymns sung by children's choirs, and the playing of church bells and chimes. It was always snowing in my memories; I loved the way coloured Christmas lights glowed red, green, gold and blue through a white blanket of snow on the houses as we walked home silently, past midnight, while watching for Rudolph in the sky.

Favorite memories:

Holiday celebrations with my family
The day all of our beautiful pets joined the family, especially Samantha, my first Siamese cat. (Actually, I was in high school then, not a child, but she was a great cat.)

Visiting my parents one summer after spending a whole year away from home.
It felt awesome just to be back home and feel at home. And it felt so good to meet all the familiar faces. You never know what you’re missing until you are away from it.

Also reading books on the patio and playing with the neighborhood kids.

Oh, another of my fond memories is ice skating with my father on a frozen pond by our house.

Have you ever had a perm or slept with hair rollers / curlers in your hair?

Both! I slept with rags in my hair (old school method of creating waves), as well as pink sponge curlers when I was young.

I had an unfortunate series of poodle perms during Uni, too.

Now I just braid my hair to make waves.

What is the longest you have let your hair grow to in regards to length?

I'm not sure, but once it grew to behind my ears and in turn, I had trouble combing my hair because it was so thick.

An inch below my waist was the longest I let it get. I have 2B wavy hair. I’ve straightened it a few times in the past but I like it the way it is. It sits just above my waist now.

How much do you care for you hair :) ?
