I have heard of people repainting and such every 4 or so years, just to keep things fresh. I think the demand for a repaint can become urgent after 6 or more years as the paint can start to look grubby.

I'm not sure about other decorations you may have in mind, however.

Well I do mine about every couple of years but I was wondering about bringing it closer together

Not really, no. :lol:

Although I do like the fact that recent paint you can buy is often odourless now. It used to be horrible with the VOC's in it which made it smell real bad.

It's good to put down fresh sawdust every few days.
