I've just sorted out my BT broadband and telephone for the next two years. Or at least I hope I have: last week I was hustled by one of their salespeople into agreeing a two-year contract that would've been completely unsuitable and a huge waste of money.

Luckily I was able to cancel that and get a much better deal today, but this whole business is really stressful, I find, and I'm beginning to conclude that this whole contracts business is definitely for the benefit of the companies, not the customer.
