The retired weather people gather for coffee this morning, but it is at a mall. Hopefully it won't be too busy.

(Oh, and yes, I do write with a fountain pen to a penpal. Imagine, using snail mail too!)

Are you looking forward to the change in seasons?

I absolutely adore autumn and November in particular, so I can't wait for the weather to be even blusterier (more blustery)?

I agree as well. Blustery weather in Fall, and especially Winter is so much fun. No one goes out in it, except me!

Can you "Netflix & Chill" watching an entire "season" of shows in one sitting?

I agree and YES! I binge-watch the following series on a repeat basis (although some are DVD, not always Netflix):

The Flintstones
ER
Grey's Anatomy
Dexter (although I haven't finished it)
Six Feet Under
Ally McBeal (starting November usually)

you?

Thanks, Kaz! It will be fine. My stroke was 3 years ago so it's just follow-up at this point.
I'll describe all my symptoms and the neurologist will dismiss them all (you know, just a typical encounter with doctors).

Do you have a stoic nature?

Sometimes, to a certain degree but, I'm not stoic all the time..

Do you enjoy creating something of your own doing, like lets a literary or scientific project?

Of course I do!

Do you believe you can improve on something that already exists, and imbue new life onto it?

I have a stoic nature, hate talking about myself in a positive manner and I hate complaining. Can't talk about my horrible past, like some others seem to do constantly because it triggers my PTSD tremendously. I just can't. Also, it works differently for men. Often times, men get valued for their strength, so, when men talk about things that happened in my past, they get seen differently. Even though people respect it, it has a negative effect on the value of a man. The strength is gone. Compare it to a woman, who often gets seen as stronger for going through what I have been through. Really strange how that works. Best thing is to stay quiet and stoic. Makes me sad though.

Yes.

Same question.

I was talking about how Shakespeare adapts past works (past for Shakespeare), and give them new life. Nothing else. Shakespeare "gave new life" (imbued) to old, established plays.

Do you find Shakespeare to be hard to read?

As English isn't my native language, yes.

Same question.

Shakespeare can be very difficult without many footnotes which make reference to Elizabethan (late 16th century/early 17th century) life and usage. I've never been good at obtaining a consummate understanding of his plays.

Same question.
