Are we getting another Oilers vs. Panthers final?

I'm sure you can probably get exercise bikes with built in phone chargers but mine didn't come equipped

I forgot it was bank holiday when I woke up this morning, I thought I was starting my shift at 4pm, but then I remembered I'm doing Sunday hours, which is earlier, so I forgot to charge my phone lol.

I used to love thinking it was Monday and then remembering that it's actually only Sunday

That's like one of the best feelings ever

You need a smart meter. Usually free from your supplier (I think you said it's British Gas.) Then you won't have to read your meter and you get a nice display to monitor your usage.

There's a downside to smart meters. I've heard some horror stories, so I don't trust them. In the UK my meters are inside the house so the supplier only gets to know the readings if I tell them what they are. They're always sending me emails reminding me that "it's time to send us a reading" and pestering me to get a smart meter, but I just filter them straight to the junk folder where they belong. They just bill me on estimates, and when I can be bothered I send them a reading. I usually find I'm in credit so it's like having a hidden bank account. I ended up thousands of quid in credit when I got trapped in the USA during Covid, so I didn't have to go to the trouble of paying them anything for ages. They tried to swindle me over their estimates of the credit, but I spotted it and they gave it back when I read them the riot act.

Well I don't want one anyway but I can't have one due to me having an independent gas transporter

There's also an issue with the distance between my two meters

It's more trouble than it's worth and I used to work in energy and I've heard all manner of horror stories about them being switched to prepay meters without the customer knowing and all kinds

It's enough to put you off really
