^ it's warmed up here.
They're predicted rain for the weekend, one can only hope.
We've been in a terrible drought.
Farmers have been shooting their stock despite the hay runs, it's all a piece of poo.

Ah that is a shame, poor little things.

Yeah, I must admit I was quite happy to have some rain recently.

I was putting water bowls out in the garden for the wild animals when it was really dry as I had a few visitors in the form of a mouse and a frog on different nights.

Hello, all.

By tomorrow I'll be done writing Book 2 of my new series [my tenth book in total]. It'll be around 42 notebook pages, which I found rather amusing. It's a much shorter book than usual, but a lot of important things happen in it. I've been working hard all day.

I'll type it out next week, and then we'll be moving. I have to pack all of my books anyway. *sigh*

I'm keeping The Ocean at the End of the Lane and Good Omens in my bag, in case I need a bittersweet reflection on childhood or a ridiculous apocalypse before we move.
It's funny how words change so much. Evil originally meant 'uppity' and apocalypse originally referred to the Book of Revelation only.

Typical me. Aug. 11, I was done Book 1, and declared that I was taking a break. So much for that.

I saw a comment on social media recently which read:

"Anxiety is basically conspiracy theories about yourself"

Which makes it all a bit ridiculous, when you put it that way.

I'm all done writing Book 2. Typing out begins tomorrow.

So, I know everything that happens in Book 3, vague ideas about Book 4, and I'm planning another series.

It makes me wonder what I'll do once I'm the nice old age of 30.

Fabulous - those creatures can drink now.

Plant life can drink.

Water - essential for all living things.

Makes me appreciate how lucky we are to live in a relatively wet country.

20. I was being somewhat sarcastic, but it's a valid point--how many books will I end up writing in my lifetime?
