What weird aspirations do you have in life?

Ah, that is where my dream house would be located. Out in the middle of nowhere.lolAnd it would be several stories high, with balconies and I would look out, and ride on horseback, for miles and miles and never encounter another human being. And of course, I would keep lots and lots and lots of kitties to keep me company. And they would wear beautiful kitty charms made of solid gold and silver, and have gems, and each of my kitties would wear charms themed after who or whatever they're named in honor of.

Get the original Routemasters back on London's streets.

I would like to turn my room into an East Asian paradise. I'd decorate it with all kinds of Japanese artifacts, including a Buddha statue and a mechanical cat that waves its paw up and down, the likes of which I saw in an Asian store at the mall.

Elsewhere in my house I'd put up Renaissance-era portraits, particularly ones of 16th-century women, like Queen Elizabeth I.

Mine would be one story only, so I can get old there and never have to move to a nursing home because I can't manage the stairs. There would have to be separate accommodations for a live-in caretaker when the time comes, for the same reason. Kitties, sure, but no gold and gems for me, just wrought iron and wood and stone, and leather furniture. Fireplaces. I want a small house, except for the kitchen & pantry. And a chapel on site, and the bishop's approval to keep the blessed sacrament in it. It's possible ... there is such a thing as a consecrated hermit in the Catholic Church. But as of yet, I don't have a hermitage. Time.....

Is it wierd to want to sail around the world in a giant boat and go an a different wacky adventure in each place I dock? is it wierd that I hope to meet the cutest aspie girl in the world while on my travels and take her for the remainder of my journey? Is it wierd that I wish to make a TV show about it when it's over with a theme song written and sang by yours truly?

As for me, I want to learn how to repair musical instruments. And I also want to move to the east coast. Splendid culture.

I'd like to:

-Live on a desert Island for a while, perhaps not too long- a year or so, like the swiss family robinson or something- that would be amazing. And build myself a kayak, and catch my own fish for dinner and stuff && Live in a treehouse

-Have my own VW camper, a lovely one at that, either blue, orange, red or green...

-Spend some time in Hawaii, and get rather good at surfing

-Visit the Amazon Rainforest

-Dive/snorkel the barrier reef

-Become a marine biologist

And more ^^ I'm certainly hoping to do a fair few of those- maybe the desert Island one will just have to be a dream for now though

Of course. That's quite important. I would have a chapel as well. I would have Mass said at least once a day, and I would say a Rosary every day. I think Cisneros wanted to be one. I do know he didn't want the position he was given by Queen Isabella. He was forced to accept.

That actually used to be an even weirder aspiration of mine. To become a nun, a Discalced Carmelite to be specific.

Well, I don't think that's such a weird aspiration. I too wanted to be a cloistered nun. I was told by both Trappistines and cloistered Benedictine nuns to put the idea out of my mind ... I would not be accepted. God has His ways, and His reasons, and His ways always turn out better than I could ever have come up with myself.

I was surfing online and I came across something called 'Spiral Island'. It is an man made island built on top of thousands of plastic bottles to make it float. The man who built it planted plants, has a solar oven and solar panels and is self sufficient I hear. I would love to build an Island like that someday.

O_O That's neat. I want my own plastic- and solar- maintained island. It'd be awesome. ^.^

More than that though, one of my odd aspirations is to fall in love and have a reverse-traditional relationship with a girl, whom is essentially the "guy" in the relationship, if you will, and gentlemanly and stuff. >//>;

I felt like I almost had that once, with a high school sweetheart, and it sort of turned into a dream of mine. I'm sure whatever my next serious relationship is like will become my next ideal relationship dream, so I guess it's not that big of a deal. Before that I wanted to fall in love with someone I was psychically linked with, since my last girlfriend I was that close to shared a dream with me where we kissed in the rain outside an old building.... The memory has faded now, because that was years ago, but reh.

No though, I'm a bit effeminate, in ways that make it most frustrating to be straight. I've had plenty of guys that were really pretty great interested, but I can't help not being physically into men. >_<; It's just not there.

I want to bring back that show where you get to change your race of with the help a professional makeup team, yes that was a real show. I want to be a photographer for bands and getting to party with them. I could go on...
