I hate when people lie, and thusly, I never lie. Are you thinking of me because I changed my age? If so, that really isn't a lie because I never presented it as the truth.

No, it wasn't about you, I admit though, it was pretty funny what you did just to get into he adults section.
But lets face it, you might aswell wait until you reached the age before you go there, there is a teen section and it could actually be pretty similar in a way.

Remember when I said that I listen to The Kinks on YouTube, 50% of the time? It's more like 70% of the time, so I'm finally going to admit that I have lied on WP.

No, never on WP. I rarely lie at all, only in extreme cases when it's absolutely inevitable.

I wonder how you would define "inevitable". Avoiding punishment from your parents? Avoiding getting in trouble? Or when your safety is at risk?
When my safety and security are at risk. That usually means avoiding situations that could make my life change in a radical way, with that change causing everything in my life to go downhill and out of control.

I've never intentionally said something untrue or lied. I have changed my opinion on things and sometimes confuse things between my three kids, but it's never on purpose. My kids are very complicated and some of their details could look like contradictions. For instance Little Guy took a whole battery of tests and his IQ didn't come out terribly high, but other measures of intelligence and ability came out extremely high. So if the topic is IQ score I might say his isn't that high and if the topic is how smart kids are I might say he's prodigious. Both are true but appear to contradict because most people with prodigious ability/intelligence have high IQs. I suspect many people on the spectrum have unusual circumstances that can appear to be contradictory.

I don't lie for I see it as being a mark of unethical nature. No!, I'm, neither an angel nor the devil but, I simply choose not to be deceptive in any shape, manner,or form for all intensive purposes..Yes, there are many people out there with malevolent natures about them whom go about carryig out all sorts of evil deeds and trying to act sneaky about it but,, for me if there is something I wish to say, I'll express it honestly & wholeheartedly without any shadiness in meaning or implication of my words or actions..

I hope this makes sense?

I don't think I've ever lied on here, and I can't think of any reason that I would in the future. I'm more open and honest here than I am in my real life. Not that I'm terribly closed and dishonest in my real life, but my real life knows nothing about most of the stuff I've posted here.

Dammit. Paradox.

If you lie about lying, that's a double negative, so are you telling the truth?

The only thing to add to this thread is to say, I often wonder about the persons whom I once knew on the net that willfully chose to mislead me..

This for me too. This is the only place I feel understood. Pretending is for my time among NT's.
