The african congo.
Not exactly europe, but I don't care.

France, I have been to Spain, Morocco, Greece, Mexico, New Zealand and the UK. After seeing The National Galleries in London I must go to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay.

I'd like to visit several of the African nations for there is an African ancestor in my family and I'm curious to learn more..

Russia -- Siberia to be precise.

but for the 20+ countries I've been to, Switzerland, you have to go there at least once in your life time. It's paradise! Not just the landscape, also the people and the whole atmosphere, I couldn't believe I'm actually on earth. I felt like I was in heavan. Really want to go there again.


I couldn't agree more with you it's almost like Disneyland it just some how doesn't seem real you almost have to pinch yourself.

With your qualifications it shouldn't be hard to get a working visa OR citizenship if you wanted it. Now that I'm about to get (almost) off disability and become a productive ,member of society selling up my (modest) 2 bedroom inner city apartment and trading up for a big old Swiss farmhouse on acreage sounds really appealing to me at the moment Don't believe the cliche that Switzerland is expensive in many rural areas you can buy big homes for beer money like in this region (where I grew up)

Your probably not familiar with it, it's a region far off the the tourist track, in most tourist guides theirs little or no mention of this region, only scary thing to me is it has the coldest recorded temperatures in Europe (Siberia of Europe)




I've seen many threads here "best place to grow up aspie" I'm no authority on the matter though I'd have to say CH (lived and studied in France and Australia) .

If a country where inhabited entirely by aspies it would look a a little bit like Switzerland , introverted, dull ,law abiding to a fault (I didn't even see any jay walkers when I lived their) , their strong work ethic (it's like Singapore run by Mormons) . Their attention to detail and lets not for get they have *their* way of dong things which is a little different to everyone else, did you know it's the only country in the world with a square flag and another stand out, direct democracy ! (which keeps the libertarians on the right and left very happy.

And finally their non concern about fashion/ dress sense , compared to their neighbours to the west and south (outside of areas like Geneva OR Saint Moritz that is) they tend to be sloppy dressers.

The country I wish to visit most is not on the poll. (China.)
However, I'd like to visit almost any country.

All of those but especially the UK, Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Romania, & Norway.

I want to go to Austria.

If we're talking outside Europe, I think I'd quite like to visit Canada, Australia and Japan.

I'd go with Madagascar..

and I for got to add honest dealings you know the world has gone to the dogs when you can't trust a Swiss banker .

I may be overreaching ? nostalgia clouds ones judgement ? , from what I've read/heard it's just not the same as the time I spent their in my youth , most certainly on the wages front, their was a time when wages compared to comparable developed countries it was way ahead of everyone else, my aunty did not believe me when I told her how lowly my 1 st minimum wage was (Australia) , these days that wage gap has significantly narrowed to the point where there's not that much difference. Suits me to a tea that wages suppression means I can now afford that farmhouse.

Where would I want to live ? I would have thought aspies could live anywhere as long as they they could still indulge in their hobbies, So as a gamer and homebrewer (beer) I could live anywhere ruling out places like Saudi Arabia or Iran

I wouldn't mind going to the US for a couple of weeks, to walk up and down the Oregon Coast. That would be fun.
