I was adopted. Can't answer the poll because emotionally it all depends on how I'm feeling at the time. Sometimes I'm ok with it...other times I'm really angry. I also grew up knowing I had a half sister my bio-mom chose to keep. I heard I didn't measure up...so I was abandoned shortly after birth.

I grew up hearing I was adopted...really a black market baby because I was purchased. This is what I was told growing up. I heard all kinds of unsavory things about my bio-mom...not that the couple who adopted me were any better themselves. I have lots of memories of physical & verbal abuse, but it's likely to have gone back to my infancy. I dunno why the couple chose to keep me since my earliest memories they both despised everything about me. Adopted mom came at me with a kitchen knife poised over her head, & adopted dad threatened to kill me in front of neighbors. I do wish my bio-m0m had either aborted me (not legal in those days), or dropped me off at an orphange. At least all the kids there were in the same boat, not singled out like I was.
