I do the same but I also look for excuses to post irrelevant music vids, ask stupid questions & to quote TV eps & also to talk about something I'm probably the only one who cares about. I don't think I'm a toll thou cuz I think it's comic relief & my intent is NOT to annoy people or cause problems/disputes between members or anything. There is some useful info in it to sometimes

Exactly.

I've trolled a few places. I am guilty of posting some stupid threads here in the past like about toys coming to life but that was me being funny and it wasn't hurting anyone and causing any drama and I once posted a bunch of Benny & Joon threads asking dumb questions. But on other forums it was real trolling. I pretended to be an NT and talked down to the NTs there about their aspie partners. I have posted fake questions at Yahoo Answers and the worst ones I posted were these first two created by my aspie friend about raping an aspie boyfriend and having sex with him. The rest I did on my own and they weren't as offensive and dirty.

Zomg and I2 I have done too. I have pretended to be a character out of Benny & Joon when I created a sockpuppet and then I was banned after three posts ha. On I2 I did several impersonations of people from here.

Plus I have messed with internet bullies.

EDIT: I just remembered I trolled on the Nisider2 forum to this guy who pretended to be my friend so he can get nude photos from me. I was hurt so I posted three messages in his threads about naked photos. I sure got his attention because he sent me a PM telling me he has a girlfriend and she is wonderful and he no longer wants my nude photos. I wonder if he made that up just to get me off his back. :P

HuH? It's filled with banned members from here or members who used to come here and a few people from here go there.

Well the place is filled with douchebags and it's not a support forum and they like to scare off newbies and mess with sensitive people. Not all of them are that way but they stick out more. Trolling is allowed there too but spamming isn't.

But I don't take everything seriously I read there. Lately the place has been boring and I have only found one interesting thread there this month.

Ya I noticed that they were really impressed with Lightfire300, he is one of the most unimaginative inept wannabe trolls around, he leaves a yellow piddle trail that always leads back to him

It's just an extension of human beings perception of the world around them. Morals and ethics are more fundamental and important to how we function and behave. Of which, despite its claim to the contrary, religion has no authority on what so ever. It is just a shallow context in which to convince the believer of their would be superiority over others through being one of the chosen to know the real deal about whats going on.

That's my special interest.

Based on my friends who told me they troll or have done it, I noticed a pattern. They tend to have boring lives and have nothing better to do and they are bored so they go online and do it for a rise out of people. Then some of them get pissed when their trolling fails. I know one person like that. He wants to be a good troll and hates it when he is caught so soon. My aspie friend, the one who created those troll questions for me, is also the same way.

So trolls are bored with their lives and or are unhappy with their lives so they go online and do it and one of my aspie friends said trolling is a good way to let out your anger.

But I have learned they are actually nice people but they usually have problems such as depression but one of them is actually happy and has friends and he goes to college and he seems to have a fun life. But he trolled on a forum because he didn't like the owner there so he likes doing it to piss him off. I dunno if he still does it. (I just remembered I also trolled that forum and my trolling failed because people do a good job there ignoring them. My friend still wanted me to keep doing it but I didn't feel like it anymore because I was bored so he told me to give him my screen name and password so I did and he started his trolling. He actually started taking my posts from here and pasting them over there so he was basically spamming and he also sent members PMs. Then I was banned from there but I didn't care because I had no interest in that place).

So I learned to not judge them. No matter what they do online, I don't judge them. They could be nice people in the real world but they happen to like going behind the screen and being a dick. I even met someone in real life who told me he loves to go on youtube and troll and he pretends to be gay and starts arguements with people there. He was on there at the restaurant doing it and he seemed like a nice guy.

Jeah I get that. Everyone needs his way of venting. Only thing that kills trolls is ignoring them, and I do that very well.
I believe that there is a joy in trolling as well, they seek to get reactions out of people and when others get mad the trolls mood eases.

I've seen enough trolls to last me a life time, I'm on this chat program called IMVU which is really nice but there are lots of trolls. But I understand their need to just troll around so I sometimes give them a few rows like "stop it.." or "shut up you damn troll" to fuel them because I know they need it.
It edges him on to troll more but I know it makes him/her feel better.

Golden rule when handling a troll is knowing that nothing he/she says or does will ever have an effect on you. In that sense I'm immortal and no troll can touch me.

I like trolls, but I eat trolls if I ever come across one. And i have the patience to bore him out.

Some things they say and do are sometimes real funny.

There's some decent folks there too. And yes, I've detected a bit of a xenophobic vibe there but it's only a very small forum so newbies tend to get noticed as soon as they join (and get noticed when they lurk and don't post, like my stalker friend does). It's like cityfolk walking into a pub in a really really small country town and having everyone watching and staring at them :P. I don't know why the member base is still so small though.

Yeah I went over there when it was a relatively new site back in the day. You may notice what I said before was in past tense. No idea what the place is like now. Most of the old members went over to the drivel I think.

Completely agree with you. God is far bigger than us teeny wees, so we're always going to get it wrong. That's why there are so many religions and denominations in the world. And that's why, if there's a loving God (which obviously I believe there is) He'd throw His hands up in the air and say, "Oh, I need to go introduce myself to these silly little children... maybe then they'll understand Who I am." Because we'll never get to Him by ourselves.

I agree with this. People just don't seem to get it into their head. I was arguing with my atheist friend and ended up getting really upset because he wouldn't grasp that God can't be explained by our characteristics.
