No never.
But trolls are people to, bored ones.
Based on my friends who told me they troll or have done it, I noticed a pattern. They tend to have boring lives and have nothing better to do and they are bored so they go online and do it for a rise out of people. Then some of them get pissed when their trolling fails. I know one person like that. He wants to be a good troll and hates it when he is caught so soon. My aspie friend, the one who created those troll questions for me, is also the same way.
So trolls are bored with their lives and or are unhappy with their lives so they go online and do it and one of my aspie friends said trolling is a good way to let out your anger.
But I have learned they are actually nice people but they usually have problems such as depression but one of them is actually happy and has friends and he goes to college and he seems to have a fun life. But he trolled on a forum because he didn't like the owner there so he likes doing it to piss him off. I dunno if he still does it. (I just remembered I also trolled that forum and my trolling failed because people do a good job there ignoring them. My friend still wanted me to keep doing it but I didn't feel like it anymore because I was bored so he told me to give him my screen name and password so I did and he started his trolling. He actually started taking my posts from here and pasting them over there so he was basically spamming and he also sent members PMs. Then I was banned from there but I didn't care because I had no interest in that place).
So I learned to not judge them. No matter what they do online, I don't judge them. They could be nice people in the real world but they happen to like going behind the screen and being a dick. I even met someone in real life who told me he loves to go on youtube and troll and he pretends to be gay and starts arguements with people there. He was on there at the restaurant doing it and he seemed like a nice guy.
Jeah I get that. Everyone needs his way of venting. Only thing that kills trolls is ignoring them, and I do that very well.
I believe that there is a joy in trolling as well, they seek to get reactions out of people and when others get mad the trolls mood eases.
I've seen enough trolls to last me a life time, I'm on this chat program called IMVU which is really nice but there are lots of trolls. But I understand their need to just troll around so I sometimes give them a few rows like "stop it.." or "shut up you damn troll" to fuel them because I know they need it.
It edges him on to troll more but I know it makes him/her feel better.
Golden rule when handling a troll is knowing that nothing he/she says or does will ever have an effect on you. In that sense I'm immortal and no troll can touch me.
I like trolls, but I eat trolls if I ever come across one. And i have the patience to bore him out.
Some things they say and do are sometimes real funny.
