Yup, she was the one who directed me to this website. I won't post her username because I don't think she wants that kind of attention. She's a sophomore and I'm a senior. We would discuss stuff about the spectrum and help each other figure social stuff out. She's one of the few people with AS that I know and she's a sweetheart.

That's really cool. I don't know the person that directed me to this site in person. I'm not even sure if she's got an account here. If I had the chance, I'm not even sure I would meet her. I have major social avoidance issues. Every Wednesday I nearly cancel bowling just to stay away from people...

Tonight I decided to eat leftover chinese food so I didn't have to deal with the over-crowded dining hall. It's always super-crowded in the first week. Hopefully it'll die down so I can eat there without panicking about bumping into someone and spilling my drink or something. The table of friends I eat with is really large too, so when everyone's chatting with each other sometimes I just can't join in or get a little overwhelmed by the noise and focus on my food. D:

That is usually a legitimate excuse in college. Too much laundry, not enough quarters. XD
But yeah, sometimes I just need to be by myself. Like tonight. Even though my roomie's here, we're kinda doing our own thing because we're kinda introverted. Actually, I'm more social than she is most times but it's okay. She's a nice roomie.

I know of one person who is on here a whole lot, before I came here, he actually directed me here. But I have never met him IRL and I don't know if I ever will. I would like to meet a number of WP members in real life sometime. I believe my son, Liam has Aspergers. And I have known and I presently do know of other people who have Aspergers in real life. Most of my best friends have AS/HFA.

I wouldn't count on it. Wouldn't recommend it either.
She'll just have to sit there awkwardly doing nothing while we have all the fun. She'll be the fourth wheel.
