If I visit you, where will you take me?

If someone came visit Bucharest, I would show him/her the Palace of the Parliament (a nice building filled with awful people)
A must is eating "papanasi" at a restaurant with tassssty traditional food. This is how they look and they taste even better (edit: it seems the photo won't be visible, here's the link : http://cityo.ro/pics/photos/93_600x450.jpg)
Then, I would definitely take you in Moldavia, taste my father's wine, made by himself (the best I've ever tasted), drink my grandpa's "tuica" and eat my mother's "sarmale"
A visit in Bucovina and Maramures would also be a treat, I'm just sorry I don't have the time to tell you guys what exactly is worth visiting and what a heaven it all is.. No hotel needed, everyone should just spend their nights at the village people.

That Palace is magnificent, mirela. I think there are some buildings/structures that are best seen at night.
Oh wow. I've never had Romanian food before. The sarmale look delicious (I like cabbage) and look small enough to keep stuffing my mouth with. But I will definitely make sure to save space for that papanasi! I haven't had anything to eat in a while and staring at that picture is making me drool. I just checked and it can be made either boiled or fried? Heck, whatever way it comes in, I'll eat it! The jam and sour cream topping complete the whole look. I bookmarked a recipe in the vain hope (knowing me) of ever making any myself.

The B&B looks good. Pembrokeshire is nice and definitely worth a visit. Wales is a small country, so everywhere is close, but there isn't much transport infrastructure, so it takes a long time to get from my village to Pembrokeshire.
I'll trust you when you say that Wales is a small country. Even the capital was compact which I really enjoyed when I was in Cardiff last November. I arrived the day before the rugby match between Wales and the All Blacks. It was freezing. I knew enough though not to stay out on the streets too late that evening. I should have come at a different time altogether. I don't care for rugby plus the nightly rate of the hotel I stayed at cost £50 more than usual.

My question is, would you seriously consider acting as my tour guide if I do make it over to your part of the world?
You mean I would have to be organised, chatty, and interesting!?

Coffee in Picadilly Gardens, lunch in Heaton park, a pint at Hollingworth Lake, then erm Trafford Centre? I've not lived here that long
Sure, bucephalus. Taking me around would be one way to get to know your new city, too.
It's all good wherever we go. So long as you remember my name.
Ahh Esther,
You bring back good memories -- i used to live in Claremont for four years and Torrance for 9. I have been to all the places to mentioned and I miss them terribly.
Thank you for the memories.

If I could, I would drop everything and just travel everywhere.
Take me on a magical mystery tour or a magic carpet ride please and show me your town. What will you show me? Who would you introduce me to? When can I nap only after I've done a "must"? Where will you take me for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Why are you taking me to that particular place you're taking me to? Etc, etc, etc.
I'll start.
I live in Orange County, California.
If you're interested, I'll take you to a theme park (not necessarily in Orange County alone). We can go to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm or Magic Mountain.
I'll introduce you to Grisha who is also a member here and is also my neighbor.
You can take a nap only after you've had some yogurt and toppings at Yogurtland.
For lunch, I will drive us many miles just to have roast chicken at CA Chicken Cafe. Their fresh squash is delicious. For dinner, we shall eat hotdogs at Jerry's Dogs and have to-die-for hot potato chips.
And I'll want to take you to one of the beaches here simply because it's peaceful just to stare out into the ocean. I won't know how to get to any of them, but yay for GPS!
You can make the trip as long or as short as you want. I'm more curious than anything else to get a feel for your town.
Thanks for the ride! (And no, not a ride in that sense.)

Sounds like you visited at the worst possible time! I'm glad you knew not to stay out on the streets at night. If you do go back at a better time of year, you could visit the artist's mother's B&B too - travelling from Cardiff to Pembrokeshire is probably quite easy
