Depends on the situation. I'm either too loud, or too soft. When I'm talking to people I'm uncomfortable with, I tend to be monotonous and soft-spoken. Same in public spaces. With people I am comfortable with, I'm often too loud (I don't usually notice until someone says something).

My voice is deep and can travel, but it's usually soft when I'm talking to someone I don't know. My voice gets louder when I get more involved with what someone is talking about and usually raises to an adequate tone of voice. It will only get loud in tone if I'm as immersed as I can in the talk or conversation I'm having with someone.
