People ho tailgate you because they think it'll make you drive faster. All it makes me do is slow down to about 20 and hope they were going somewhere very important.

I used to try to ignore tailgaters, but lately I've gotten all passive-aggressive on them. On a road that I travel a lot, one of the lanes has a lot of school entrances on it and it ends just past the schools. If somebody is coming up fast behind me, I'll speed up a bit so they don't think they need to go around me, and when the other lane ends, I'll gently slow back down to the speed limit, and they're trapped. Actually, I haven't done this in a while because school is out now and traffic is much lighter.

I also hate/fear being next to or BEHIND semis, they scare the ever living sh** out of me. Once when I was a baby me and mom were in a parking lot and one started backing up and the driver was completely oblivious to us. He would have completely crushed our car but some lady ran out in front of him and signaled to him to stop. Needless to say our car was totaled. I nearly had this happen again in recent years when I was taking my grandmother somewhere but I pre-emptively backed up because no one was behind me (We were on the road not in a parking lot.) If I ever have to drive I stay the hell away from semi drivers. Will get in the opposite lane, do my best to stay away from them a good distance.

I get scared around truck drivers too. when on a 3 lane highway i make sure (if i have the option) to have one lane empty between me and him. when i pass a truck driver, i go way over the speed limit to get around him as fast as possible to make sure i don't sit in his blind spot.

these people drive me crazy!! !

i do this too. eventually they either back off or go around. i plan to get a bumper sticker big enough for those to read it saying "the closer you get, the slower i go"

tail gaters. i loathe them. they make me feel like im going to crash into something and my car will start wobbling whist i drive. i have discovered a way to piss them off- drive slow and watch them explode behind the wheel. and wave to them to let them know you're f*****g with them on purpose. after a while you should begin to doubt the wisdom behind infuriating a dangerous driver but should be too high to give a f#@$. i'm a malicious bastard.

The drivers that speed up and suddenly slow down repeatedly. Makes me want to rear-end them, but I like my car too much :P

Tailgaters=worst.
I develop a terrible cramp in my right foot which then can no longer press the gas pedal.

People who don't use turn signals in parking lots- just because you are in a parking lot does not make you exempt from using your turn signal. I have had many situations where I walked out into the street but then a car that did not use their turn signal nearly ran me over.

People who don't engine brake going down steep hills- When there is a sign that reads something like "9% gradient Next 2mi., use low gear" temporarily take control of your "automatic" gearbox And shift into a suitable gear for the hill rather than glazing your brakes over.

People who try to block you for no apparent reason.- The other day I came up to a red light in the far right lane. I passed two lines of cars about 25 cars deep (50 cars total) and approached the light as it turned green with 40mph of momentum. However, about 1000ft. After the light, the right lane ends. So I begin to accelerate at a moderate pace. As soon as I pass him, a red Cadillac CTS (300hp car) absolutely guns the throttle so that I cannot merge. I put my left turn signal on and attempt to out accelerate him, I barely managed to out run him in the minivan. He then continued to do about 85-90 in a 55 and because of the light traffic I decided to follow him at a distance using him as "bait". But I had just driven this road about 30minutes earlier, and knew about the speed trap over the next hill, the Cadilllac driver didn't. Unfortunately I had to take the next exit so I couldn't see his interview with the local constabulary.

I was cursing a driver who ran a stop sign in a parking lot, and it turned out to be my husband's aunt. :o

Tailgaters (I wish I was brave to f**k with them by driving slower but I am afraid they will rear end me if I have to slam on my breaks and I don't want to deal with my car being totaled or having to wait for their insurance company to kick in and what if they had no insurance?)

People going fast thinking it will get them somewhere quicker (I always laugh at them when I always catch up to them or when they get stuck behind another car, it's even funnier when I see them get pulled over)

People parking over the parking line taking up two spots

People who park so damn close to your car you can't even get in

People who are waiting behind you and then follow fast behind you when you go on the road (what if I have to stop all of a sudden due to a blind spot, then they rear end me, I refuse to follow behind a car getting on the road when they turn onto the road because what if they slam on their breaks for some reason, then I rear end them. I just stay behind and wait, so I am always cautious when there is a car waiting behind me and I am waiting to get on the road)

People texting as they drive (yeah my mother in law got rear ended and lost her car because of a teen was texting behind the wheel, if that were me, she be dealing with a b***h if she was honest enough to tell me she was texting someone, I would have been so furious and I felt furious for my MIL)

Drivers honking at me when I am waiting at a red light and they want me to do an illegal turn

People not letting you in their lane

People who forget to turn their signals off

People who have burned out tail lights

People running a red light

People who cut me off

People who play their bass music so loud

Nappy head? Funny, makes me think of someone wearing a diaper on their head.

People that drive too slow in the fast lane.
People that don't go when the light turns green because they're too busy talking on the phone or texting. Then they flip you the bird for honking at them to get them moving.

Quebec drivers

I live in Ottawa, and deal with this all the time. Many English Canadians feel the same way. I find that when they are in front of you, they will drive as slow as they want. Behind you, you can't drive fast enough for their liking. Same goes for the taxi drivers in this town. I will never forget being stuck on the 417 here in 100 km/hr max zone with a Quebecer driving 60. There was NOONE in front of him and I of course could not safely pass him.

Hey, you talkin' to me! I live in Jersey (not my birth state) and believe that any of my fellow Jerseyans ( especially the po-po) would be more than happy prove you right. In fact they do it every day. Don't even get me started on Jersey drivers especially ones with large SUVs that haven't been washed since they left the dealer lot 8 months ago.

I also hate people who leave their engine running for long periods of time. The other day I was at a doctors appointment and someone sat out front waiting in their car with the engine on for over 1.5 hours! I know it's a free country but I think that's pretty wasteful.
