I would love to solve the mystery of people staring and laughing at me in public, when everybody knows I'm not doing/wearing anything to make me signifficantly stand out or encourage being laughed at.

I should go looking for the original Persian/Arabic for that. I'm sure Edward FitzGerald tried, but... well, English, Persian and Arabic aren't all that close to each other...
