My voice sounds a lot like whatn it sounds like when you read my writing. I don't have much of an accent, much like news people.

i am reasonably sure that your accent and vocal timbre would not resemble the accent and vocal timbre that characterizes my interpretation of your words.

now I am curious, how did you auralize [made up word analogous to visualize] my voice as sounding? and your own voice/speech sounds educated/distinguished to me. anyways, my normal voice sounds less coarse [laryngitis] than that, somewhat softer.

neil young's voice is more of a low tenor. mine has always been a bass/baritone on the light side. when free of laryngitis [used to be chronic due to repeated sinus infections] it was about a fifth of an octave lower [than neil young] and smoother/much less "edgy" [like the difference between a french horn and a post horn].
