The tin you're drinking it from?

"Oh, ha ha ha.", I hear Pondering sarcastically utter.

Cans, we aren't talking about soda pop here guys... Cans are good for Mt. Dew and such, but not the beer I drink! I can't help but think that "Red Hook Copper Hook" is truly trying to live up to it's name by the flavor of it. Say it ain't so! Otherwise, the beer is very acceptable.

Heh, IF it isn't cheap beer from a bad can, I'd say it's from the type of hops used or sometimes "off" yeast.

I've tried a few PA's that tend to be piney and metallic.

Yes, but only occasionally, I will probably be more and more as it makes me feel so much better. Much better than those awful anti-depressants I used to take. If it slowly kills me? Eh who cares!

You might want to try Feral Fantapants (7.4%) if you live in WA and can get to the brewpub at Baskerville. It's the same style, rumoured to be very good (Stone's Arrogant Bastard Ale is 7.2%) and it's aggressively bitter. Another option for you to try is the Moon Dog Craft Brewery in Abbotsford in Victoria, who do a strong, aggressive, hoppy ale at 8.2% called Henry Ford’s Girthsome Fjord.

I drink when I am reallly stressed and depressd, but not when I am happy.....

The irony is, when I am all hyper and happy, everyone wants me to drink, and I am like, nahhhh, lol!

Also, I think the drinking increases depression, so once the stressors are removed, the depression leaves cause of the stress being gone, PLUS no more alcohol. :D

Yes, I do. 5 to 6 days a week. But maximum of a glass of wine per day. I don't feel like drinking any more than that. So, it takes me a week to finish a bottle of wine. Also, only when I'm at home by myself. I don't like drinking with people. Drinking doesn't affect my mental state because the amount that I drink at a time is very small. I only drink for the taste, not for the effect of it.

In that case, it is just really good for your digestion... noting wrong with that. :)
