I adore poison dart frogs. I've always wanted one. I particularly like these ones:

They're fascinating!

And when they're in captivity, they lose their toxicity. Their diet in their natural habitat enables them to produce the poisons in their skin. When you keep them in captivity, you feed them wingless fruit flies, and they are unable to produce poison :D So it's just a harmless, brightly coloured little frog. They're also more fun to watch, in my experience, than other frogs. Because they are active a lot during the day, while lots of frogs are not.

I see... well, I'm really more of a cat person.

Cats are good, much more comforting than frogs when you are feeling down or sick

These are mine:

Cats really have a thing for heat don't they? Cow Kitty also has an affinity for heater vents. That cat looks a little bit like Cow Kitty. I tried to put Cow Kitty in a paper bag, needless to say she had her own unique and bloody way of communicating her opion of the idea... seems to be the same opinion she has of her cat carrier. Sometimes I'll drop my coat on her and she won't do anything, she just stays there under the coat.

My cats sleep on the heater all the time in the winter. The black and white ones name is Little Mischief.

And the kitty in the bag got in there all by herself. I have no idea how she did so without tipping it over. I found her there when I was cleaning, but she was fast asleep so I didn't want to move her. I took her picture instead. Little Mischief sleeps at the foot of my bed with me, and Little Angel (The orange girl kitty) sleeps up beside me, sometimes under the covers. She was a rescue-kitty :D
