Going in my local pub, viewing the real ales on selection and then having a chat with the landlord about the new beers he's preparing in the cellar.

Being out and about in towns across my county, Lancashire, taking photos, coming home and sharing them with others.

Getting drunk. (That's sort of related to the first.)

Coming home on a Sunday evening to a lovely roast dinner.

Things like that.

I love seizing every opportunity I can get for taking cheap shots at popular culture. (I am an aspiring satirist)

I love listening to music I like (not giving half a rat's rusty rear about what the world thinks).

Coca-cola right out of the freezer and almost (but not quite) to the point of freezing
The smell of gunoil
The sheen of fresh bluing
A long hot shower
Pretzels made by the mennonite fellow at the farmers market down the road
Walking with no destination in mind, just for the joy of it
Places in nature where there are no people for miles around
A new book
Being able too read said new book from start to finish without interruption
Putting on clothes fresh out of the dryer while they're still warm
Girl scout cookies, especialy the thin mints
Rain, specifically being inside when it's raining
and finaly,
Talking to someone who knows how to hold a conversation.

Going for a two hour walk, every second day and filling my mind with reality.

getting out of the house and into the real world(except school)
