you're one of the good things about WP, redmage. one of the members that, i think, make the website better.

If a dog bites a person that person can develop a fear of all dogs. Its a very basic
survival mechanism and maybe hard to unlearn when it gets deep seeded. The best way to avoid it getting deep seeded is to keep facing dogs because most just want to lick your face.

I think the major problem here is that you BOTH take to the offense and draw swords when you see something against your opinion. Or at least, that's what the evidence shows.

I agree.

While I cannot agree wholeheartedly with that above statement, you are a sane and reasonable member, and certainly one I can talk to. Plus, compared to some of the members your age here (cough, OWA, cough, greyh3lium, cough) you're actually fairly mature, and your only problems are ones that may lessen with age. You certainly are a fairly good representative of your age-group here. You certainly enrich the site. You just need to be more patient, and debate better (something I certainly need to as well.).

If someone offends me, I just ignore them. And I am quite capable of remaining on good terms with those who have a different opinion on an issue than mine. One of the WP people who I like is on the opposite side of the issue from me in the Abortion discussion thread, but I don't think any less of him for it. I just don't agree with him on that issue.

I'm a masochist so I can tolerate a certain amount of abuse.
