By the way, I tasted Bigelow green tea today. It's what my work cafeteria carries. It's quite good.

I love green tea

the little granules of dried leaves make a delightful sound as they hit the bottom of the teapot

not too strong though, most people make it too strong and it's really bitter, a very pale translucent colour is what you're looking for (I drink it in small Turkish tulip glasses, shows off the colour beautifully)

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Yeah the box I have says brew with water just below the boiling point and less time than black tea. Frankly thats too weak for me. I make mine much stronger. When hot its
fine. When cold (ice tea more common in Texas) its extremely bitter and undrinkable.
I used 4 different commercial brands and they all tasted very different. I say none have been as ideal as some black tea I have had.

But Green tea has some interesting
things that are much lower in black tea I think it called EGCG Which is an antioxidant.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EGCG And http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theanine
Which is an amino acid that takes the rough edges off caffeine.
