I come from Manchester originally, but now I'm in Warrington, between Manchester and Liverpool. Soph - having passed a couple of times through Urmston, I have to agree with you. I do miss Manchester, it's far more lively than where I am currently. But I'd rather live in the north than the south. Life is more relaxed.

Yeh there really isn't much to do in Urmston. It doesn't bother me that much though because I don't really go out often anyway. I probably won't be satisfied until they build a museum here or something :lol:
It would be nice to have somewhere to just walk around though without worrying about loads of people there.

Ummmm. None of the above. I wouldn't ever live in an archipelago country the size of Michigan. I like long cross country drives.

HereComesTheRain: The main island of the UK, Great Britain, is fairly long in a vertical sense. You could spend ten or twelve hours driving from Cornwall to Caithness.

It's interesting seeing what different parts of Britain are like. The difference between places like the Forest of Dean in Wales, and Farnham in England etc compared to Manchester or London is incredible. It's difficult to believe it's the same country, not to mention they barely speak the same language.

Back when I competed in Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments I ended up going across prettymuch the whole country to compete in various tournaments. It was fun. :D
