i have a 1950s era green toy train, needs restoration, that goes [or went] "CHOO CHOO!" and went in odd irregular circles on the floor. been 5+ decades since i'd last seen it in action.

I've got an Amiga CD32 console from 1995, which I haven't used for at least 15 years. These seem to sell for high prices on Ebay these days.

Also quite a few old laptops - I'm writing this post on a 2002 T23 IBM Thinkpad.

My cooker belonged to a distant relative, and must date back at least to the 1960s.

I have been using a ton of old appliances and things just for the sake of getting life going:

Tailored some thrifted vintage trousers to fit me, using a 1952 Singer-
Wrote a novel on my 1927 Remington typewriter (talking to publisher soon... :))
Shaved with antique safety razor & restored Ever Ready brush
Listening to music on late 1920s Columbia phonograph, and 1938 Crosley radio
Driving a 1990s Toyota daily

Any more?

Seriously cool stuff . Wow.. last time knew of existence of a recording record devise was about 3 yrs old , but those were 33 1/3 . Was too short to be high enough to actually look at it. Just observed from short status as my father and his friend were . Interacting with it . And recieved 2 discs as gifts , william tell overture and beethovens 5th. Later inherited several other discs of these types .

Nice! You won't need to replace your car any time soon.

Sorry to hear about your mom, though.
