So... if I have to wear a mask in public I shouldn't at least make it somewhat enjoyable by having cute or clever pattern printed on it like the Winnie the Pooh mask my mother made me, or the one I got last week that's pink with black stars on it? And it's also wrong that I'm not as reluctant to take a picture of my face because the mask helps to hide how fat and ugly it is?

Go figure. Everything I do is so wrong. Especially when it's something that makes my life suck a little bit less. :(

That's the very best way to have Pooh on your face.

How did a generation of people who grew up watching The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy end up getting so easily offended by everything?

Seriously Disney has to put disclaimers in their vintage cartoons but people spent the 90's watching Homer strangling his son, Cartman dressing like Hitler and Stewie attempting to murder his own mother.

Yeah, I was worried I was going to hear the joke only about a million times when I first
wore it. :)

Well I am not offended by these at all because they are fiction. But I felt that since Covid is a real issue, it should be treated more sensitively, with this mask showing off, compared to not being bothered by things in fiction, in comparison.

Well have you seen some of those vintage cartoons 8O there is much worse stuff than that in some of them. I saw a pretty bad one on youtube, not sure if that one was disney or not, but I for sure have seen some disney ones that weren't too much of a step up.

Japanese apparel giant Cox Co. Ltd. began selling hand-made face masks last week under its Mask.com chain, Reuters reported. One face mask company now selling blinged-out coverings for $9,600.

The pricey masks are made with high-end materials such as Akoya pearls, Swarovski crystals and 0.7 carat diamonds. Each embellished mask can feature up to 330 pieces.

Japan’s jewelry and fabric industries have been hurt throughout the coronavirus pandemic. “We did this as part of a project to help revitalize Japan.”

I like the idea of people stylizing masks. That makes people more likely to wear them.
