That should be the name of my parents’ cat. Or Jaws.

There’s few pleasures he enjoys more in life than biting and scratching me. I need to get some gauntlets, so I can play with him without a lot of blood loss.

The list of names of all of my pets, both indoor and feral cats, could fill a book. I had a dream not long ago that I saw all of the pets I ever had from the time I was a child.

I had parakeets named Cornelius and Cordelia from when I was around 12. Cornelius would perch on my finger and could say “hello.”

My grandmother (On my mums side as I had two grandmothers) had been upset when a dog they had died. Spe prayed and the Lord gave her a vision of Heaven and every pet she had ever had were there with Jesus.

A book series I once read featured a wild cat named "Whisper". The series was pretty much a LOTR-ripoff, but I always thought that as a great name for a cat.

When I was younger my brother's then-wife had gotten two kittens. I asked in a letter what their names were, and my brother wrote back saying their names were "Hairball" and "Flea-ridden varmint" or "Pest" and "Parasite", and then he said they were cute little things and he did not want to get rid of them now that they were there, before finally naming them "Cracked Walnut" and "Bowel Cancer".

He sent me a photo of the cats. Their real names , Jo and Meg, were written on it. They were named after two of the characters in "Little Women". He also wrote that he wanted to teach them to drink beer, but his wife thought they were too young for alcoholic beverages. That's my big brother.

It is important to vent stress in my fifth limb (my neck, vocal cords and jaws). I do this by screaming at the top of my lungs once per day. I live in the country and I have a free range dog. So generally, when I feed him I need to call him. Living in the country it is acceptable to scream for one's dog.

I let my grandkids name my pets. But I give them strict guidelines. The dog's name must be two syllables. That is because I find it difficult to scream one syllable or three syllables. And the name must be screamable.

The current dog we have is named Rocky. The grandkids also name the cats. Our cat is called Cinder after Cinderella

I was in a Pet Smart today and there were two cats for sale named Chomper and Tank. Chomper is black and Tank is grey. Supposed to be brothers from the same litter. Good looking shorthairs. They're 7 so that's why they're pre-named.

But I'm wondering if a cat even recognizes it's name. My uncle summons his cats by shaking the cat food box. It's pretty funny to watch them bolt into the kitchen and start meowing.
