New coins get minted every year so Charles will appear on 2023 coinage and there will probably be a 2023 series paper currency issue as well.

There's already Charles coins in existence. The new ones may or may not depict him wearing a crown.

Here's a portrait of Charles when he was crowned Prince of Wales. I suppose William will have to go though that too.

A car accident would be a strange way to assassinate someone. 'Yeah here's the job you risk your life to crash into this person and make them die.'...like come on really?

Anyways I think he'll make a dandy king. I'll miss the queens every shade technicolor outfits. Maybe Charles will consult Elton John's tailor and wear a different brightly colored suit each day to fill the void.

Wouldn't that be something! Because surely he'll have to do something to stand out from the crowd, that's why the Queen used to wear all those bright colours- so people could see her! I'm not sure what a man can do to stand out. Maybe wear a massive hat? With plumes or a point?

Yes the young Charles might be more appropriate, He's been waiting so long, One can only practice in front of the mirror for so long.
When Charles married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981 and donned his crown with whom everyone thought would be the future queen of England, he would never have guessed that his new wife would be dead, his sons squabbling with each other and he would have to wait 41 years before he could be coronated

Probably not wearing a crown - that wasn't done for example with George V and the following kings, at least not on most UK coinage in general circulation. Other countries differed, as they probably will with Charles III.
George V postage stamps featured a crown in the design, and probably for the kings following:

Precedent is usually a strong influence with "things royal".

As they phase out the queen's face from banknotes, coins and government buildings, what image they will use of Charles to replace the Queen with?
Young Charles?
Middle aged Charles?
Old man Charles?
The images used of the Queen followed her age, so it will likely be Charles as he is now.

I'm not sure if this will be generally available to those outside the UK but for those who can see it, it's worth a viewing.
A rare instance of the House of Commons not squabbling and a good demonstration of the very high regard for QE II.

There's ten hours of it, one continuous sitting, and it links to a further seven hour sitting - but the first 30-40 minutes is enough to get a good flavor.

She was a remarkable woman in so many ways.

The first change since I joined and likely the last.

It's by Philip Larkin, and written for the Silver Jubilee in 1977.
He was offered, but declined, the position of Poet Laureate in 1984, following the death of Sir John Betjeman.

1,000+ years of history and continuation is one good reason.

I don't think that is a good reason. Lots of bad things have thankfully stopped despite having a long history. But I'm an anarcho-syndicalist were not generally fans of monarchies.

^^ Having a Head of State that's above the grind of election cycles and day-to-day politics is another one too.

Is having a monarch is better than having a president? That's a question that the Commonwealth realms will have to decide for themselves in the coming years. Australia's prime minister has ruled out any changes before the next federal election at least, while both Jamaica and Antigua & Barbuda have announced plans to hold referendums on becoming republics in the next couple of years.

Marginally, but no, not really, monarchs are in essence at least much more honest about their position being quite useless and representative. Anarcho-syndicalists aren't big on presidents either haha. I seriously feel the idea of a political head of hierarchy is outdated and the antithesis of equality. On top of that the amount of emissions we could save in a single year with so and sos not flying off to brussels and to greet each other hand to hand back and forth x350 per person would be staggering..

But I didn't come to debate politics to your topic as much as make an less popular opinion known so I will just leave before taking up too much space here.
