Local Subways got bought out by Peopke from India , , apparently they went to cheaper suppliers ,, their
lettuce started making me sick consistently . :( Hmm.. maybe its Canadian Lettuce ? lolz

I've only had Subway once or twice in my life, years ago.
The bread was disgusting both times.

Our lettuce is pretty decent, but expensive at about $5 for iceberg, not much bigger than a baseball.

I hadn't heard that, but somehow I'm not surprised.
It tasted rather like a polycarbonate rubber or oil-based product.
Smelled like it too.
I'm not joking - I'm hypersensitive and overanalyse things.

Pretty sure Subway makes the franchisees buy products from the main company, that's a big part of how they make money, as well as ensure consistency.

Nothing, at least not inherently. It no longer has ADA in it.

It's just that it's cake.


As for ADA:

In Ireland, subway bread was ruled to be a confection, as it contains too much sugar to be called bread.
