When I lived in NY, I was off on a genealogical expedition to find some markers at an old country graveyard. Next to this graveyard was a farm, filled with what I can only describe as rabies-maddened cows. They were extremely antagonistic toward my presence and made mad-cow noises with every step I took, as though they were going to rush me.

this reminded me of the part in the HitchHikers uide to the Galaxy, where the 2 missiles turn in to a bowl of petunias and a whale, and the whale falls foul of gravity, being suspended above the ground with nothing to propell it, and then the following sticky mess left on the ground

I'm a bit afraid of dogs. Mostly I'm okay as long as they don't jump on me or lick me because I'm afraid of touching their noses, tongues, and paws. I don't know why, but if they touch me with any of those three, I just freak out. It's really terrifying to the point where I make sure to wear long pants and sleeves and closed shoes so if they accidently touch me, it won't be on the skin.
I also don't like bugs, espeacially crickets. They completely freak me out, dead or alive. I'd rather have a dog than be in the same rom as a dead cricket. I'm not sure why, it could be becasue they are black, but i kind of doubt it. It could all just be in my head for all I know. -PowerGirl
