Richard Benson, those photos are gorgeous.
I'm going to try some x-country skiing today...maybe I'll bring the camera too, but I don't think I'll be able to match your pictures!

That middle picture of the single tree is especially nice.
It sort of reminds me of an oriental print for some reason.

*cry* I haven't seen or played in snow since 1989 in Misawa, Japan.

One reason I want to move up to Tennessee/North Carolina or thereabouts is to get some snow. Hopefully I won't start to hate it. Here in North Florida, it's like 70-80 degrees. We can't even get a steady week of cool weather.

You could at least send us some cool air.

Awesome pictures Richard!! !! I love it when it coats the trees like that. 8)

I'm jealous too...all the snow is gone here now...we've had rain for about 3 days straight. We now have plenty of mud. 8O

Yes yes.

I hope we get some soon. It was snowing here in the area but it didn't stick.

Hmm. Do I want some snow?

Check my location! Just enough I don't have to shovel, please.

Those are all gorgeous pics that bring back many memories of my former Rocky Mountain home. I can almost smell the woodsmoke now.

I once constructed a snow monument to one of my heroe, Herr Feldmarshall General Erwin Eugen Johannes Rommel.

Awww...I want some snow :(

I have never been to see the snow, and live in an area where there is never any.
