Sorry, who are you again? And why should I care whether you're here or not?

(by the by, I'm kinda offended you didn't mention me... and yet I'm not. Oh, the paradoxes...).

I started it... I'll finish IT!

and by the way.... I don't even own a horse!.... That's Macallan... you fool!

Can I come back now? I'm done with my little rebellion.

Although I have to go to work now.

It wasn't my fault after all... it was the movies that did it!
Those foreign films making a mockery of mankind and religion... just sorta went to my head... along with all those posts about people leaving WP because they feel out-of-place here.. or slighted in some manner... or they have new games to play....

I'll straighten up, play by the rules, toe the line, set an example, be a role model, stand my ground, ground the beef, beef up the supplies, and...
smile a lot... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

FORGIVE ME.... PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEEE! :hail:

I can even wear a wig so I look more like you all again! :afro:

YES YOU MAY COME BACK WSMAC... I DONT WANT U TO EVER LEAVE :)

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Hi Strapples,i'm sorry i yelled at you last night

wsmac,what were the movies?
and were they any good?
i rented "Clubland" last week & returned it un-watched, so i know the frustration.
i really sympathise with the trauma & indignation that a WP fascination
can inflict on innocent & un-wary travellers on the digital terrain, who, pausing momentarily
are vacuumed un-mercifully into the educationally chaotic abyss that is the WP experience.
Your eloquent attempts to ellucidate emancipation have received recognition
and been rewarded digestion,distribution,analysis,angst,comprehension, confusion,denial,hilarity & solidarity.
I have NO choice but to follow your courageous & sacrificial example
and leave WP forthwith.

The fire-alarm went off just before i started writing this...
who knows, it might be important.

Whoa, there's more to this leavetaking caper than I thought. Etiquette to be followed. Niceties to be observed. How long should the farewell post be? Should friends and foes be sniffily ignored, or mentioned by name? Should there be an obvious play for sympathy, or not?

Best advice I ever saw given on this subject:

Quote:
Next time you declare you are leaving, don't forget to end with:

*dramatic flounce*

Hmm, maybe I should suggest this for the Site FAQ.

Your apt words are duly noted oh kind kindred soul of WP!

For those who have felt the pang of omission from my previous diatribe, fear not... as you speak, your name has been marked appropriately for any future railing, wailing, and very loud howling in posts I deem fit.

And I do appreciate the return of good humor... helps me know that my words were taken in proper context!.... for once....

Oh... and the movies...

The Milky Way (La Via Lattea by Luis Bunel - 1970)...

and

El TOPO by Alejandro Jodorowsky 1970

Both of these movies are foreign and steeped in symbology.
Some people may find them hard to watch because on the surface, they can appear to have no story at all.
The scenes come off as somewhat scrambled and incoherent at times, but if you watch them as if you are listening to a great storyteller rather than watching the latest Hollywood blockbuster action film... then these movies might actually make sense to you.

I enjoy movies like these... my daughter just shakes her head at me :P

wsmac,
WP is a terminal addiction, don't fight it,and who else is vocal enough defending ADHD to the infidels anyway?
It'd never be the same without the skateboarding kittens either.

Your argument carries convincing weight!

After careful consideration and many hours of sleep... I have decided...

I SHALL STAY!
