i hate the feel of make up. it takes forever to put it on. if someone can't see that i am beautiful without makeup then i don't need them. i don't see the point, no.

but on the days when i am inclined to take the 2 hours to actually sit there and do it, it looks cool.

I'm a guy too... but here's my thought...

Some girls really cake on the makeup and all I can think is wow... what must they look like under all that stuff that they feel such an overwhelming need to disguise themselves.

I like people looking natural - makeup isn't.

Also - kissing/cuddling a girl with lots of makeup is like rubbing your lips around in a jar of foundation.

when makeup is done properly, you guys don't even know it's there even when kissing with her...but the girl is just very very very pretty:wink:

very true. :)
im a guy and wear makeup. O_O

I don't wear makeup.

I'm planning on wearing just a bit to look more goth on halloween. (I'm an optimistic Semi-Goth)

Frankly, I couldn't care less if it would attract more guys if I splattered blood on my face and started speaking like Dracula. So... I have no real reason to wear makeup.

Oh, you mean to cover up those huge zits that I sometimes get on my face? Yeah, nothing goes there either. I don't even put chap-stick on until my lips practically bleed.

However, my hair is dyed purple. I'm trying to express how different I am.

I think the point of makeup is to show the people who think that the outside is more important than the inside that you matter. Ot to express yourself, but... my idea of 'yourself' isn't "HAY LOOK I HAVE GREEN EYELIDS!" Y'know?

Making up topic

I used to wear some mascara and a teensy bit of eye shadow and a smidgen of blush so my cheekbones would look more pronounced but I looked terrible and contrived with it and my dyspraxia is such that I did a terrible job anyway. About 20 years ago I stopped wearing it altogether. Just too busy, and too much dexterity time involved. If someone else did it for me I would consider it again, as in a makeover. Just curious to see what I would look in a glamourous way but nothing regular, as it is not me.

I wear foundation when I go to college and sometimes when I go out. When I'm at a party I wear mascara and lipstick. Depends how I'm feeling and how much time I have really. I like the way I look with make up on.

I wear make-up if I'm going to school or for a special occasion and only sometimes if I'm just going out and about. I am very confident in the way I look, so I don't feel as if make-up is a necessity for me. But it is always nice to add an extra touch.

do any of you aspie girls wear make up?

If So, could u go out the house without it on? its just that few girls wouldnt do that and do you think it attracts boys more or no?

And also... do you see the point in wearing makeup?

I dont purely because i never wear it, only on the odd occasions.

Whats's your views?

I'm just wondering.

Thanks

I'm a big fan of eyeliner, for the longest time I refused to let anyone even see me without it on. Now that I have a kid, job, and a home to take care of I'm surprised at how easy it is to let yourself go a bit. I go out of the house without makeup on because there are way too many necessities to be taken care of, no time to think about makeup. I've always thought it attracted guys better, but guys usually tell me that I look just as good all natural (I still don't agree).

If I've planned a nice night out with the fiance though, I jump at the chance to spend 2 hours grooming everything perfectly, curling my eyelashes, putting on mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss, etc. I love it, just only when I have the time.

When I was younger I never wore make-up. I don't like how it feels on my skin. I don't like hand lotion for the same reason. Although now I do sometimes wear foundation in summer to cover up the hormone-related darker areas on my face.

When I was in high school it seemed like the meanest girls wore the most makeup and so that's what I tend to associate it with. Even today I am wary of women who wear a lot of makeup until I get to know them better. I'm also not big into fashion either. There are styles I am still not comfortable wearing because I got teased a lot when I did wear them. Since I don't know what's in and what's out (and really could care less) I avoid fads and stick to the classics.

I like wearing it sometimes, but I know that I'm just as beautiful without it because my personality shines either way.

Honestly, I don't like guys looking at me.

I'm not even interested in guys, and I'm 16!

I don't. I don't like the feel of it and the way I look with it on plus I'm not looking to attract anybody.
