I used to be a vegetarian but I got sick of it. I felt like a grotesque giant stomping about the world, crushing billions of delicate, beautiful and exotic creatures, all the while holding in my hands a tiny dead butterfly and saying "Look at me! I'm such a good person for not eating this thing!" Humans cause so much damage simply by existing that attempting to live through one's life without harming another living creature is a futile battle; there is not much a person can do, short of going to live in the wilderness in a yurt and sustaining yourself on berries.
On another note, my mother's friend is a vegan. She is the most evil witch of a woman I have ever had the displeasure of knowing.
Thats like saying I killed one man, why not just killing 1000 now.
So Vegan = Evil witch?

That's not what I am saying at all.

I'm saying that human civilization causes so much destruction to the environment and other living creatures that, as one person (in a house hold of meat eaters, now I come to mention it) I can't hope to achieve much simply from abstaining from eating meat.
And the comment about my mother's friend was unrelated to that point. I just wanted to express what a complete b***h she was (for personal reasons).
