I think anime as a whole is quite overrated, ridden with cliches and lacking in actual animation. But there are some really wonderful anime films and series!

What I really don't like is Americain animation that is trying to be anime, like teen girl squad, martin mystery, ect.

I have no interest in anime.

Actually, I don't think I share any of the popular interests on WP. I'm not into any kind of gaming or computers or . . . What are the other things lots of people here like? Star Trek? I don't like Star Trek. Seems like South Park is popular here too. I lost interest in that long ago. Same with all the other TV shows . . . Oh, and cats. I was once obsessed with cats - long, long ago - but not anymore.

Well, I'm the probably the only one who brings up South Park on a consistent basis.

As I said, I don't watch TV or movies much anymore.

Back when they used to have Saturday Anime on SciFi, I thought I liked anime because some of them were kind of cool (especially Akira), but then Cartoon Network brought us Toonami and Adult Swim, and I realized that I didn't like anime, I just liked a few Japanese movies that happened to be animated.

I really like Cowboy Bebop though, and Trigun was alright.

Some people don't like anime because they think that it only comes in the form of kids shows or XXX-rated hentai. When infact it is quite varied, covering many genres.
