I got dehydrated and had an IV once. I was so out of it i didnt feel the needle. It was at a scout event at a race track so it took less time.

Glad you're out of the hospit, Strapples.

I usually avoid buffets - a lot of times the food has been sitting out for a while and they've made me ill before. I'm surprised that no-one has used this play on words yet (and I'm sorry if it offends), but I call that restaurant that made you sick - "Old Country Barffet!"

was no where near that out of it... but they use 24 gauge (very small) needle for IVs at my hospital... its just like getting a blood drawing, and then they insert the catheter into the vein.

i agree, I also stay away from chinese buffets don't know what the over or undercooked back in the kitchen(once got violently I'll from eating at the ironically titled "Lucky Buffet" it was so bad I almost passed out in school, first time I had tunnel vision, it was strange but cool at the same time I can at least say that I didn't pass out, if i had it would have been right in front of the main office i got to my class and went to sleep the entire class period went home and slept for another 16 hours missed dinner entirely)
