I've heard of three funny sounding place names in the UK, but I can't remember where all of them are...

Wetwang
Willy
Bell end

Apparently it is also banned to have a number 4 house in a Corf close/road etc. Well read it slowly and in queen's english '4 Corf close'. Pretty funny huh?

So, if everything on this thread is true, then the state of Kentucky has both a "Dick Lick Springs" and a "Knob Lick". That is interesting. Redundant, but interesting.

In Poland there's also a town named Ząbki - literally: Little Teeth.

Medicine Hat and Moosejaw are both Canadian cities, but I'll be darned if I can remember which province. I think MH is in Alberta, though.

Dunno if anyone's mentioned this yet, but there's a Fingringhoe in Essex, England.

Apparently Fingringhoe is a really nice place but I can't say from personal experience what Fingringhoe is like...

^^Yaye greetings everyone.

I believe I have once visited a little village very near to Whitby named Fryup (yaye, and I believe there was a happy little village near named Egton).

^^ Also, when I was happily younger, my magical brother lived within Scotland. When I would travel with my parents to visit my brother, I believe we would often pass a sign to a lovely town named Ecclefechan.

In Poland we have also a city named Piła - Saw - not like in "I saw it" but like the device using which you can cut something. There's also a city named Łódź which is translated as Boat.

I'm pretty sure there's a place in Germany called "Worms".

Sweden has a town called "Fjuckby" and another called "Tomtebacken", the latter being roughly translated to "Santa hill"
There's a place called "Gaydon" on the way to Warwick in England.
Also, "Rollright", "Wimpstone", "Birdlip" and "Irlam" are all also in England.
