Meh...I could care less.

I do get a little entertainment outta watching people ski down those gigantic slopes hoping to see if something just might happen...

I've not seen any. I detest sports in any form.

actually i have been watching the olympics quite a bit. so, yeah i like it, i'm fascinated.

it is yet another human thing i can't quite wrap my mind around... i watch the little bios of the athletes, the swimmers, the gymnasts, how they do nothing but eat, sleep, train each day, every day.

it's obsession that can put an aspie to shame.

years of work for a few seconds. i can't grasp it. can't imagine the motivation or desire to live solely for one thing so undistractedly.

all those people who DON'T WIN, all the crushed dreams, all those years of life wasted and then you lose... it makes me forget to breathe thinking about it.

I like reading about all the controversies surrounding the Olympics on Yahoo News. I also like keeping track of how many medals each country has won. I hope that the US will have the most medals in the end!

(raises hand) Me! I cannot stand watching sport of any kind, and it annoys me how people I know who are all into human rights are watching this as if they were blissfully unaware of China's appalling record on that front.

The only thing I will say, is that after hearing about the kind of breakfasts that whatsisface, that American swimmer guy eats, I'm developing a craving for chocolate chip pancakes...

I have been watching, waiting for my country to win a metal, finally got 3 early this morning, Gold Silver and a Bronze

i find the gymnists, swimmers, and runners to be quite interesting but everything else is slightly boring. the thing that really bothers me about the olympics are the commercials. ex.: Do you know why I shop at Walmart? It's cheap and blah, blah... the most annoying ones are the mcdonalds...olympians dreaming about eating mcdonald's chicken sandwiches...that's where they cross the line.

pretty much all of the big and powerful companies are supporting the olympics...it makes them look good.

When I read how restricted some athletes lives seem to be, I realize my own life is quite simple too: get up, eat, use the Internet, work, feed cats, eat, watch T.V., go to bed. I like it that way.

I have absolutely no interest in sports or Olympics.

What a big surprise, humans still can't run at a speed of 100 km/h. But wow, some happen to arrive a few milliseconds earlier than others. Yeah, that really is what I would wa... eh spend my life for.

Imagine aliens would invade this planet and decide who would be "useful" because of his occupation. Well, doctors can heal people (sometimes, quite often maybe), engineers can construct machines etc. Well, and there is sports. The athlete is asked: "What can you do?" And the answer is: "I can jump a distance of 8 meters." Fascinating.
