I certainly hope you continue to sleep well; I know my weighted blanket has helped me tremendously.

Only problem is, now I want more weight...

mudboy: the sparklies are a huge stim for me hehe. i catch myself staring at them quite often and looking over to see what color they are now hehe.
there are two ways it works on, 1 is how tight the wrap is done determines a good deal of pressure and then the weight. because it wraps around at the front end you get double the weight on top of you and laterally.

Tohlagos: i still get a smile every time i put it on and start sniffing it and rubbing my head hehe. only thing was last night i got overheated so I decided to take it off and bury my arm under it and then have my head on top of my arm buried in the warm PVC haha. still slept like a rock. inventive stimming is important!

gismo: why are you even asking if its any good when this whole thread is clamoring about how awesome it is haha

CTBill: this is different for me, for me i do not become resistant to pressure easily at all. so every time i put it on it is quite intense depending on how tight the wrap job is. the weight its self is intense but add in the dynamic pressure from the wrap tightness and warmth and my god is it intensive. my room is not an ICU its an ISU Intensive Stim Unit haha.

I did something pretty funny / fun last night.. I got into my lead apron and out through the bottom!

Its not easy it is a very sweaty and sticky task one that involves a lot of careful planning and breathing to prevent you from having to do what I call "breaking out" which simply means quickly opening up an airway in the velcro closures.

I did it at least 3 times without getting stuck on the fourth I got stuck but just sat there and took slow breaths of whatever air I was getting. The air smelled like... New lead apron and got quite entrancing but I knew I had to get out as that air probably wouldn't be there for long before the lead settles on top of me haha, overall i really liked it hahah. there was only one of the times which was the first of the 4 that i got scared and got out by cheating.

felt quite good actually, there were quite a few times i would just stop and breathe slowly and also feel the weight on top of me. it was quite unusual that i was able to do it since its quite a tight fit in width and my arms were almost always pinned at my sides pretty snugly... once i got to a place where my head was out i laid there for quite a while... really like the feeling with my arms tightly there and very warm.

if you got yourself a wrap around lead apron why dont you go ahead and try to do it!

I still think someone needs to take you to The Bean down at Millenium Park so you can have a "super sparkly" picture of your reflection from all of those funky curves...

hehehe, I would have to be topless and wearing only shorts, summer temps + sun + this would be an extremely intense combo for heat. i would probably love it but i would need proper hydration and monitoring to make sure i dont get dehydrated there.

I might photoshop myself at the bean, sound good? hehe.

Hadn't thought of that... well, there might be a few non-horribly-windy days yet this winter/spring while it's still in the 50s or less...

And the Bean is still shiny... once you got under it for a pic you might just 'splode from the sparkly stimmyness above and around you...

well i dont think i am going to go downtown for at least another few months... maybe next year... i still want to do it sooner or later hehe.

look at my avatar, thats my new lead apron, sparkly and shiny... add in a giant mirror like the bean that is weirdly shaped and boom your in an entire world of sparkly shinyness. only issue with the idea is getting too hot on the drive down and or getting too hot while i am there.

The "Bean" is actually called "Cloud Gate" and is a permenant Art Installation at Millenium Park in downtown Chicago.

Beautiful picture L2S, I wen't there and couldn't take my eyes off of it. loved how shiny and smooth it was. I wonder what it would be like to be sitting on top of it. but this is off the topic of lead aprons. maybe we should make a cloud gate thread
