It's so much better than the last time I had it. It just tastes fresher, probably due to having been shipped in cool weather.

Stumptown Chocolate Cold Brew Coffee Milk

I think that's the right order. It's very heavy. I like this trend in coffee drinks; that SB stuff was stronger than it's predecessors, but the cold brew tastes just like I like it.

A second brew. I tend to make a small pot of coffee, and the other day I tried heating some water in my mug and pouring it over the used grounds. I need to let it sit for a little while to get the strength right, but it has an interesting, different flavor profile. It probably helps that I brew very strong coffee. The second wash has very little bitterness, so the sweet flavors of some lighter roasts really shine through in it.

There's something similar I want to try, but I'd need access to a proper espresso machine. You split one shot into two parts; apparently, the second half tastes very different from the first half. I don't think a normal home espresso machine can apply the steam pressure correctly to maximize the effect, though, and I'm not about to spend used car money for a coffee maker.
