I wonder where the idea of wearing a tie for men came from

It seems the Croatians started it in 15th century France by wearing small knotted neckerchiefs, which began a fashion craze. After that people started wanting something a bit easier to put on, so we got the first modern thin tie in 1870. And before we knew it, some bugger had made them compulsory for men in the business world and for millions of long-suffering schoolkids. I think it should be up to the individual.

Anyone else enjoyed being touched as a child? I remember having chickenpox when I was 3 years old and I really enjoyed having that pink lotion stuff rubbed on my spots (I know what it's called but don't know how to spell it), I'd giggle and want more.

Also I remember I'd enjoy getting headlice because I loved having my hair combed. My mother would sit me in front of the TV after a bath and spend a long time searching for lice in my hair and combing them out. It was like a massage and I felt like I was being pampered at a spa.

And when other girls in my class would ask me if they can make a plait in my hair during storytime, I'd always say yes. It was so relaxing, until the teacher would notice and say "please no playing with each other's hair, this ain't a hair salon!" Bloody teachers!

I'm going to take a little break from wrong planet, by break I mean I won't be as active as much. Chores need to be done and the computer is my biggest distration. I'll probably be back next wednesday.

I'm thinking of buying some Hair Skin and Nails supplements because I think it will stop me from breaking out in hives from the heat.
