That sucks.

My grandmother used to make me Farina. I was fortunate that she was good to me----because she wasn't all that great to my mother.

Do you like hot cereal? (I don't!)

We would argue good-naturedly about music. My good friends became my roommates; not all at the same time, but on a rotating basis interwoven with each of us living with respective girlfriends at different times, and then not.

Most nights, if we weren't out at a bar or a live show, were spent staying up late, spinning records, smoking, drinking French press coffee, tea, beer, etc. Usually coffee or tea. We'd play cards, talk about work, books and art or just test our wits with each other in philosophical arguments. Or talk about the most amazing and mysterious: Women.

Truly wonderful times and levels above some of our jock peers who would drink beer to excess and talk sports, sports, sports.....

Other than that I haven't had any such friends in about 18 years. So it's a bit sketchy.

I don't like farina. Hot oatmeal can be good.

Do you like hot cocoa?

Hi again Ferris! and welcome back magna!

I like your description of your nights with the guys, magna. very renaissance.

Hot cocoa is alright but I'm not a big fan of chocolate. I'll take the French press and the tea!

So who was cooler, Ferris, Cameron or Sloane? I pick Cameron.

Depends on the mood, but typically sweet.

Same query.

Smell seems to be the least-used, so I'll go with that.

Same query.

not smell
not sound (music)
not reading (otherwise known as sight lol)
not touch (I stim)

I guess that leaves taste.

I could lose taste.

same q

Such a tough question.

Not sound. Tinnitus is in the brain, so being deaf I would be subjected to nothing but the ringing with no escape.

I'd lose smell

BTW, Isabella- Cameron all the way. Ferris was kind of a dick to everyone....

When did you learn to swim?

Not sight , because falling on the street

Not sound, because hearing cars and other hazards

Not taste, because glutton

:ninja:

Smell, there are not many good things to smell. Failure to smell them is not a problem

Fifth grade swim lessons

:D

I had a crush on Cameron because he was mute like me, and I felt badly when he wrecked the car. His scream was my coming of age yalp!

I learned to swim from birth really, on our boat with a life vest. But my formal lessons started around 1973 in a friend's pool with a whole synaesthesia thing around it (gravel roads, pinwheels, smell of chlorine) etc. I loved my rubbery floaty wings.
