Thanks, It's an image of the character Kazan from the independent horror/sci-fi film "Cube"

I think this thread is ridiculous. The main point of this website is to engage with everyone and give our input into how others are dealing with their life and feelings.

Whoever posted this thread is doing the exact same thing that would be done in the NT world- creating a division between so called popular and unpopular members and I think it is ridiculous!

I would never overlook someone's posts because I thought they were unpopular and not worth my time and I doubt other Aspies would either.

Oh ho ho..O U C H ! What the jingle berry was that? You've just hurt users in 322pages badly. So you would neglect friends who they think they are unpopular? So your system of valuing others depends on how much they think they're popular? Do you really think what we care for is "being unpopular things" here? I recommend you to identify user's names that sounds like they've been suffering from being ignored by others rather than keeping track of users in this club all to fulfill what you said that "I would never overlook someone's posts because I thought they were unpopular and not worth my time and I doubt other Aspies would either".

Some people would identify individuals who think they are less popular and they would want to become their friend rather than walk away from them. Not due to considering them pity but due to seeing the good seeds inside them. There really is no such thing as popularity!

Exactly. There really is no such thing as popularity, so why would a thing such as unpopularity exist and why would some members want to glorify it on this forum? Or, have I made the mistake of taking this thread seriously when you are all are just having one big merry joke? I found this thread horribly depressing in that some people still think there are "popular" members and "unpopular" members on this forum, when clearly we are all in the same boat and are meant to be encouraging one another instead of creating divisions just like how it is in the NT world!

All I do is see the good in others which is why I don't agree with others labeling themselves as being less than or unpopular and it angers me when others devalue themselves in this way.

Who said I would neglect friends that think they are unpopular? Who said I value others based others on how much they think they're popular?

It sounds like you are just asking those questions to justify what you think about me in your own head and trying to spin it your way.

"I recommend you to identify user's names that sounds like they've been suffering from being ignored by others rather than keeping track of users in this club all to fulfill what you said that"

^ I did not understand this statement. I am not keeping track of any users to fulfill what I said since what I said was not premeditated- I did not come here looking for users beforehand as examples to fulfill my statement like I already had the thought in my head and was looking for scapegoats to prove my point.

Hey..Sorry I realized that I read "overlook" ---> "look over" in your last sentence which made me overly react as you sounded looking down on users in this thread, which was not true..Your intension was good.
Sorry that I made you confused about if what you said was really what I read...Would you accept my apology?

I assume many of us are focusing on being friends with each others here in this thread. For me I don't care where I am..yeah actually I feel more comfortable being here with people who think they are unpopular rather than people who think they are popular...

You do not have to apologize as I was not offended.

I think this thread made me a little emotional because I think the majority of us on here struggled with being accepted and feeling like we were equal to our NT peers- so I think that for WP members to create a thread for unpopular members only is doing a disservice to them since I think we are all the same. It makes me upset when I sense others who are struggling putting themselves down even further. Even if it is a joke, it rubs me the wrong way as I think Aspies are highly intelligent people with a lot to offer.

Thank you RubyTates! We're cool!

I don't like the name,"The Unpopular WP Members Club" either. I guess I'd rather leave this thread for good considering of giving some users potential unnecessary struggles due to its negative name. I'd better not cause others to feel uneasy by staying someplace where some people outside could get offended. So for me, I'd rather leave this thread for good!

There should be nothing like an insanely political correctness to ensure popularity just about anywhere but in an unpopular member's club consisting of some weird autistic types ('spergics) having a bit of fun with their idiosyncrasies.

I, therefore, vote that RubyTate should get the weekly prize for "most unpopular member of the Unpopular Member's Club".

Voting is not mandatory! One vote = a consensus in the absence of contradictory inputs.

You'll never get to be unpopular by running with the mob!

Hi, Butterfly88!
I copied the whole poem for you :D

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud(also known as "Daffodils")

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
.

William Wordsworth (1815)

Thanks Drawyer, I liked reading it.

As much as I'd like to rent a copy of Cube, I don't know if I'd be able to handle the gore.
