It wasn't chilled but then I don't think anything was in those days

You could go to Butlins for 3 years, see a Max Bygraves concert, buy a whole punnet of Dolly Mixtures and a bag of hot chestnuts, and still have change from half a crown.

I remember a doctor once told me off for drinking milk, due to my cholesterol. She said ''it's all right for babies, but adults don't need it...'' Um, what? So once we turn a certain age we shouldn't drink milk any more? I believe milk carries on giving you the goodness no matter how old you are. I mean, it keeps my teeth and bones strong and healthy. I have a lot of sugar yet my teeth are strong and intact (the dentist even said so). And I've never broken a bone in my life. My bones seem to be strong. And I know it's because I drink a lot of milk.

The doctor made me feel like I was drinking baby's formula milk or something.
