Amen to that.

Now I might have a suspicious mind when I say this but I'm thinking my tiger loaf is a couple of slices light

Thank you. I just have a fear of being thought of as a narcissist or egocentric. One time I was reassured by knowing that I can't be a narcissist if I have low self-esteem and hate myself, but then I suddenly read about "covert narcissism" which is narcissists who have low self-esteem and hate themselves. I thought, geez there's a label for everything now.

Don't worry about narcissism mate
Unqualified people love to pin things on people they literally know nothing about on the Internet

The most interesting things about me are probably the rubbish strangers on the Internet make up about me

Yeah I need to learn how not to believe everything strangers call me online.
About a year ago someone on YouTube randomly commented on a comment of mine saying "you're a horrible person" (even though my comment did not suggest anything mean or insensitive). I suddenly became all anxious when I read it and quickly deleted my comment so that their comment disappeared with it (at least on my end). Daft of me really though, when my self-esteem is so low that I actually worry that a random stranger online might actually be right.
But if a random stranger online offered a compliment it'd probably make us feel better about ourselves, even though the same principle applies (how do they know we're a nice person, etc). But when it comes to negative comments, we shouldn't take it to heart.

When I make a post I always imagine what the worst thing someone coud come back at me with and that pushes me to post

If I've felt under attack then I do it even more because I know how much they hate me
Haters hate mate
C'est la vie!

I never post for positives, otherwise I'd never post at all and I love posting me

Earlier today on Reddit someone asked what was the "brain rot" of the 1950s, and people gave out answers like comic books, Elvis, rock music, and television.

But those things all sounded more like moral panic and not brain rot to me, if there is a difference. I think the difference is that moral panic is something that people such as parents, politicians and Bible-thumpers think is evil and threatens society, but such panic is nearly always exaggerated and ridiculous, while brain rot is something so stupid it may actually ruin a person's mind. Like when I was a kid there was moral panic over pinball, video games, TV, cartoons, heavy metal, and Dungeons and Dragons. Apparently, I was supposed to start practicing witchcraft and worshiping Satan by the age of 14 because I watched Smurfs and Care Bears. But things like AI, social media and garbage like Skibidi Toilet and Cocomelon sound like they really can decrease intelligence and make school age kids regress into whiny, bratty toddlers.

Or maybe I'm just old? :?

Christmas in July is over now. Back to Hogan's Heroes and my favourites from 1965. It was fun while it lasted. Christmas will resume the day after American Thanksgiving.

Christmas is back on with a compromise. My avatar won't be of Schultz or The Kinks with those brass instruments. I've merged inspiration from Schultz and The Kinks in their red jackets and came up with German Santa.

Wondering if anyone can even see my replies and they just ignore me outright or if they have me invisible, either way to Hell with everyone who decides to be evil to me I'm so tired of it.

I know the feeling. I sometimes feel invisible here. I know people aren't ignoring me deliberately, it's just other threads become distractions, especially when the same one or two members keep creating a new thread per thought they have in the same sections.

Back to school commercials. How I hate them. They bring me back to a very dark time.
