What grudges do you hold? How long did they take?

I hold no grudges. I find anger exhausting, and it barely lasts for a few seconds for me. Violence and negative feelings lead to more of the same.

Do you like casseroles?

I like some casseroles. Where I'm from they're called "hotdishes". Tater tot hotdish, for example.

What did you and your friends and family, argue about, and later make up for?

My family neither argues nor makes up. We aren't communicators at all, except for my mother who natters about superficial nothingness. No one speaks their mind in order to argue, and we all repress our emotions with individual steel vaults. As a result hard feelings just become annoyance or resentment, which are always left unspoken. If the resentment lifts over time that means the issue has been forgotten, I suppose, but true communication never takes place.

We are the most dysfunctional group of people on the planet.

The main thing that frustrates us is if someone changes an established routine or displays too much anxiety.

It's important that I be a good little hunk of cement, and not have feelings or voice them.
Hence, my mutism.

There was a huge argument involving me, my mum, and university. I kind of backed down and agreed to finish the first term, but it was agony.

If you could have a familiar, what animal would it be?

The cat, of course!

What was your most embarrassing injury, and where did it occur?

A business appointment with a college professor at his office on a university campus 7 or 8 years ago. A dry summer day. I exited the main hall building which had a large stone stairway. I've heard of those "mini-strokes" that can happen in an instant and wonder if that's what I had because for no reason I just crumbled and tumbled down the stone steps. I didn't trip, didn't faint. There was absolutely no reason for it to have happened. I assume some people must have seen it happen. I got up somewhat dazed and limped to my car. I think I broke a toe because it wasn't healed completely for 6-9 months.

How long were you affected, Magna? Was it just the crumble? Did you feel anything before or after?
(I've had a 'real' stroke as well as some TIAs).

When I was about nine years old I was outside my parents' front door peeking in the window which required me to stand on tip-toes. My mother was in the house and she looked toward the door but I didn't want her to see me, so I ducked down really quickly. Unfortunately there was a little nail in the base of the window for hanging ornaments or whatnot. The nail caught the inside of my nose and ripped a tiny flap into my nostril. Um, really? 8O I had to go inside and explain. I was beyond embarrassed.

Yes, I healed.

TIA, that's what I was thinking of. I don't really remember. It was like I was aware one second and then like a lifeless tumbling rag doll down the stone stairs. I didn't faint. I've fainted a handful of times in my life and there's a "lead up" feeling to that. The falling incident had no warning. It's like my brain just flipped off for a few seconds and I lost motor control and muscle tone.
