Did you report to a doctor?
TIA is so transient (hence the name, lol) that they can't even be confirmed by doctors, so it's hard to say.

My first TIA was one week before my stroke. I had just finished my first and only session of EMDR for trauma recovery. The process was very overwhelming for me and caused near catatonia. As I was leaving I lost all balance and the ability to speak. I slumped and fell much like you did, but on flat ground. I had no control of my muscles or movement. It lasted about a minute or 90 seconds max but seemed much longer. I assumed it was from the trauma and carried on with my day.

My stroke was a week later and caused by a blood clot to my cerebellum. This was a much more serious event and I needed a year of rehab to recover balance.

Since the stroke I've had a few of those lesser experiences again. My neurologist said that they are TIA and that the first event was likely a "warning" TIA.

Back to the original question!
What was your most embarrassing injury, and where did it occur?

I have not really had any 'embarassing' injuries but I think I remember a car door hinge closing on my fingers when I was little for a second time after it happened once.

Nigerian pop music or Latin pop music?.

Latin pop

What country's music, other than your own, do you like best?

Hardbass. I think it just sounds really cool to hear Russian music like that.
Same q.

I've always liked Irish folk music. Some J-pop is okay, though.

Same question.

I like Serbian folk music. I took a folk dance class, and liked the Balkan songs. My favorite song I ever danced to in that class, however, was a very nice Japanese song.

I also like some Latin pop.

Have you ever dabbled in wicca or voodoo?

Never had.

But my wife's son used to be a priest in the Spiritual Baptist/Shango religion. There is considerable West African influence in that religion, just like voodoo.

Voodoo comes from the Benin area (which used to be called Dahomey in the old days); whereas Shango comes from the Yoruba people of Nigeria.

Same question.

I have dabbled in Wicca before. I used to have my own grimoire and altar and I experimented with things like candle magick and rune stones.

I'd say it either didn't work or it completely backfired on me. I'm not sure which. :?

You'll have to teach us about Voodoo and Shango sometime, Korts.
I had a friend who was into Wicca but we never discussed the particulars and I know next to nothing about it.

Do you eat the red ones last? (Smarties) ?

My guess is - scruffy, paranoid and rude.

What would you call yourself if you had to change your name?

I would go by my middle name instead of my first name, which I won't reveal here for privacy concerns.

I love the name Samantha. I had a cat with that name.

Same q.

I have already changed my name. The name I use is not the name I was given at birth (which I hate with a passion). If I had to change it again though, I would go with either Loretta or Veronica.

Do you actually like your name?
